What does it mean to be “research informed” as a teacher? In this talk, Mark Enser will explore how being informed by research has led him to simplify his teaching whilst embracing the complexities that make it effective; all whilst avoiding the complications that make our job less efficient by driving up workload and driving us out of the profession. He will discuss how research informs recap, input, application and feedback and how it fits into a wider picture of the research informed school.
